Cast Iron Garden is a tribute to the Southern Methodist University campus, students and professors where I earned my Bachelors of Art degree in 2018. The sprawling campus is beautifully landscaped with Live Oak trees where Cast Iron plants abound underneath in their shade from the hot Texas sunshine. This painting is one of four in a series and is a parting farewell to being a return-to-school non-traditional, liberal arts student.
