During childhood I lived five years in Ft. Lauderdale and Plantation, Florida where hibiscus was a favorite shrub 🌺 My favorite thing to do after swimming in the pool or ocean was to sit and take in the tropical plant life; it’s SO different than Wisconsin where I was born! Pulling the stamens out of the center of the hibiscus was a childhood habit 🙂 .
