Road To The Abbey

Benedictine Way is a road to the Abbey of St. Walburga which is located in Virginia Dale, CO, north of Fort Collins, CO. We make a trek there annually to visit a family member who has lived there for years. It is a trip filled with reflection on life’s choices.

This is a view from the abbey property and the road that runs through it, called Benedictine Way. It winds back towards the highway. It is near the Wyoming border. These colors attempt to capture the feel of the red granite and its warmth.
